Ima Mishra, the heart and soul behind Maati, is a passionate social activist advocating for child rights and gender equality. Her journey into handmade creations began early, with a love for gifting heartfelt, handmade greeting cards for every occasion—birthdays, festivals, or even apologies. Each card carried her personal touch and emot
Ima Mishra, the heart and soul behind Maati, is a passionate social activist advocating for child rights and gender equality. Her journey into handmade creations began early, with a love for gifting heartfelt, handmade greeting cards for every occasion—birthdays, festivals, or even apologies. Each card carried her personal touch and emotions.
Over time, jewellery-making became her true passion. In 2016, Ima began crafting unique pieces from polymer clay, gifting them to friends who admired her creativity. Encouraged by their support, she shared her creations online in 2024 through Instagram, receiving overwhelming appreciation.
Inspired by this success, Ima launched Maati’s official website in early 2025, offering timeless, handmade jewellery and products to a wider audience. Today, Maati reflects her journey—blending creativity, emotion, and a commitment to the beauty of handmade artistry. Ima’s belief remains that every piece tells a story and carries a part of the creator’s heart.
